"Jason's quality of work continues to exceed expectations. He has increased his knowledge by studying a CMTS (cable modem termination system) for establishing a network for cable equipment and future Gas and Water uses also. Jason's technical understanding in many cases can overwhelm many people, however, he shows patience when explaining. He cooperates well with fellow employees and supervisors. When presented with a request, he explains what is involved and presents the best solution, but stays conscious of the impact on the established security measures put in place. This, at times, can present problems for those who do not understand this impact. With this demonstation of patience, he continues to explain the best way he can and provides a best case solution. He is always looking for areas of technology his expertise can help improve. Jason shows leadership and displays this while helping Colleagues. His leadership expands beyond our Department. He has become a leader demonstrating best practices for our SCADA networks and has lead the way for the Cable Modem Network. He has demonstrated ability to make rational decisions even while under pressure. I continue to rely on Jason's expertise in many areas of the Department. The Network Administrator is responsible for the wellness of the network. He has dedicated a lot of time and effort towards security and design of the network.
